Ryszard Bambas charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 30th minute of the match, Gregorio Mel got a very nice opportunity to score, but 曾挺朗 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The attack was good, but when Gregorio Mel in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Ambjörnsson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling González Urraca in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 曾挺朗 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Mel came free, but 曾挺朗 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 曾挺朗 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 曾挺朗 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Prosinečki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 曾挺朗 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Prosinečki in the 67th minute of the match.
