Salelles's Truylos Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Maia in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Salelles's Truylos Bernal got control of the ball when Leonardo Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Truylos Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Green Squad FC defense, Vinicio Turrilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilvan Sanches. The Green Squad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Sanches should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Gonçalo Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Truylos Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gonçalo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Txema Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Truylos Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Paulino Marin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute Ulisses Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truylos Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Turrilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulino Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Maia hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Turrilla came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The coaching staff of Salelles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fidel Astudillo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salelles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Salelles:s Truylos Bernal showed great skill when he stopped Tadeu Cosme:s penalty. Truylos Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
