In the 14thth minute of the game Marco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, INTER FC's Marco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Marco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Gamus having to make a save. Marco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. INTER FC's Marco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Marco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Guaberto Gamus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, INTER FC's Thiago de Barros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thiago de Barros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of INTER FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thiago de Barros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 85th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 87th minute of play. When INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC.
