Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerônimo Moreno got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Jr Familia Campos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Hermes came free, but Valdir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Hermes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Gaúcho having to make a save. Jr Familia Campos FC were furious when Kauan Meirelles was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Valdir Gaúcho went to the wrong direction when Váldson Mesquita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Enio Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Valdir Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Hermes in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Jr Familia Campos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Gamarra charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Gamarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes BARBARIDADE G.M. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gamarra. With a little luck, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante got control of the ball when Abel Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Abel Leme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genílson Dante. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Jr Familia Campos FC's Valdir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Hermes in the 34th minute of play. Enio Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Cléberson Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Hermes in the 41st minute of play. Valdir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Váldson Mesquita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdir Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leo Crespo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Dionísio made a kick off. After some careless play in the Jr Familia Campos FC defense, Geovanni Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Gaúcho. The Jr Familia Campos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Valdir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Ström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Gaúcho was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Valdir Gaúcho was a little too slow when Maurinho Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Valdir Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Moreno. 79 minutes into the match, Maurinho Hermes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdir Gaúcho, 1-3. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jerônimo Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jr Familia Campos FC's Valdir Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Maurinho Hermes took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Valdir Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. After 93 played minutes Jr Familia Campos FC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Dionísio. The BARBARIDADE G.M. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
