In the 3rd minute, GRÊMIO's 史挺南 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Valdir Gaúcho was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Abel Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Valdir Gaúcho was a little too slow when Abel Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jr Familia Campos FC's Valdir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Pinheiro in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Mazza notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Jr Familia Campos FC's Valdir Gaúcho. Valdir Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Jr Familia Campos FC's Cléberson Baiano got a free kick in the 21st minute. With his leg Valdir Gaúcho managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when GRÊMIO's 史挺南 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Mazza got free with Valdir Gaúcho in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Mazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Gaúcho. The goal made the score 6-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Abel Pirani took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Valdir Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute, Silvério Pinheiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Gaúcho. The goal made the score 8-0. In the 44th minute of the match Aníbal Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdir Gaúcho skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by 史挺南 from a close distance when the talented Valdir Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. Jr Familia Campos FC's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Douglas Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. Valdir Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 史挺南 in the 53rd minute of the match. Valdir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史挺南, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GRÊMIO and the Jr Familia Campos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GRÊMIO getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Mazza hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Donatello. Valdir Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Pinheiro went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Jr Familia Campos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Pinheiro came free, but Valdir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Pirani in the 66th minute of play. Tiago Xavier hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Douglas Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Goicoechea having to interfere. 史挺南 took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Gaúcho. Valdir Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Pinheiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Valdir Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Walmir Donatello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRÊMIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 史挺南 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the GRÊMIO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
