The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Huckebein's Apolo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anšlavs Karcirvis in the 2nd minute of play. Claes Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Jumancă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Jumancă might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Stålberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Jumancă ran back to his position shaking his head. Anšlavs Karcirvis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Santxol having to make a save. In the 12th minute Benjamin Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marin Jumancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apolo Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anšlavs Karcirvis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Huckebein's Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tony Tank, made in the 20th minute of the game. Apolo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anšlavs Karcirvis in the 22nd minute of the match. Apolo Santxol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Ekström's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Örtomta Legends's Claes Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Jumancă in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anšlavs Karcirvis in the 33rd minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute of the game, Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Rolf Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Huckebein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Blomqvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Örtomta Legends's Rolf Blomqvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Örtomta Legends's zone, Marin Jumancă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Stålberg came out of the goal and Marin Jumancă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marin Jumancă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Stålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marin Jumancă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Huckebein's Marin Jumancă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Stålberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claes Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Jumancă, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Marin Jumancă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Stålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Benjamin Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Wilfredo Ugutz got a free kick in the 58th minute. The Örtomta Legends fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Örtomta Legends's Benjamin Ekström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Jumancă in the 64th minute of play forced Örtomta Legends's goalkeeper Claes Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Benjamin Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huckebein's Apolo Santxol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huckebein's Apolo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Ekström in the 68th minute of play. Apolo Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Solheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Örtomta Legends's zone, Marin Jumancă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Stålberg came out of the goal and Marin Jumancă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huckebein made a substitution. Wolfgang Dalkvist replaced Marin Jumancă. A nice corner shot did that Lucjan Kendra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claes Stålberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wolfgang Dalkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Stålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Wilfredo Ugutz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claes Stålberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 89 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar-Allan Poe came free, but Apolo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfgang Dalkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Örtomta Legends's Claes Stålberg got control of the ball when Wolfgang Dalkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Örtomta Legends's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
