Håkan Söderberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Maore to maneuver through the defense. Degerfors IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Décio Rola 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Sjötorp IF's Décio Rola got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sjötorp IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
