IFK Kik's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gervasio Bermund came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Folke Gabrielsson could save by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Hoya to make the kick off. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Stig Browall hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Hoya in the 60th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Folke Gabrielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güral Revan in the 65th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Gonzalo Hoya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute 王适伟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Honesto in the 76th minute of play. 龙森云 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Gabrielsson having to interfere. Eustacio Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
