With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Vides in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Rainerio saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. Ramon Abarca hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fernando Vides was the one to do the kick off. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jaru-Uaru's Luís Fernando Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Kinsen came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Copérnico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Galo. In the 93rd minute Lucas Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
