Damian Brzakala hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Klose in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Mele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes, Miroslav Klose made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th match minute, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrius Cho to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslav Klose in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Mele saved WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ from getting behind. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristopher Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Miroslav Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Mele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslav Klose's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Miroslav Klose sped through WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Mele.

56 minutes into the game, Damian Brzakala threw the ball into play from the sideline. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Diamantino Vilela quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 58 minutes of play, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Demetrius Cho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristopher Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Mele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino Vilela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Santiago Mele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Brzakala hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Miroslav Klose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Mele having to make a save. With a little luck, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele got control of the ball when Miroslav Klose tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 played minutes WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ got a freekick which was hit by Demetrius Cho. In the 79th minute, Demetrius Cho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Rosado in the 86th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miroslav Klose came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Klose couldn't finish the play. Miroslav Klose got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Santiago Mele handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Santiago Mele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
