Vellito Colmenares scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Chandozos booed when Jardim Botânico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jardim Botânico's Márcio Cruz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ademar Leme came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chandozos's Raymon Albisu. But to his dismay, Raymon Albisu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 25th play minutes Osoro Valaguer shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Ademar Leme and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Jardim Botânico's Serginho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymon Albisu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Raymon Albisu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoro Valaguer in the 73rd minute of play. If Osoro Valaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osoro Valaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ademar Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chandozos's Vellito Colmenares in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
