In the 5th minute, Gösta Granberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 7 minutes of play, Gumisie Rybnik's Borys Banach made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gumisie Rybnik's Borys Banach in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VfL Wolfsburg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute Ksawery Pilarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Banach in the 18th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Gumisie Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Granberg came free, but Miromir Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Banach came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pazura having to interfere. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hannes Ström sped through Gumisie Rybnik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miromir Pazura. Olle Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 33rd minute of the match. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Blicharz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Carlos Valderrama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Borys Banach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gumisie Rybnik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borys Banach to strike the kick off in the second half. Olle Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Gösta Granberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Olle Tunander managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Gumisie Rybnik's Borys Banach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tobiasz Blicharz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Olle Tunander made a huge save. Miromir Pazura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Tobiasz Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Granberg struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Miromir Pazura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Wolfsburg. With an all-out effort, Gumisie Rybnik's Olle Tunander threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Borys Banach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Blicharz in the 74th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miromir Pazura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hannes Ström's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Borys Banach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olle Tunander. The goal made the score 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Ström in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miromir Pazura saved Gumisie Rybnik from getting behind. Marouane Kiefer kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Gumisie Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Ström came free, but Miromir Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ksawery Pilarczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olle Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ksawery Pilarczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Olle Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Gösta Granberg notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Gumisie Rybnik's Miromir Pazura. Miromir Pazura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Gumisie Rybnik players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
