Ersen Bumba started the match with the kick off. Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 9th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ got a corner. WINNING ELEVEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erman Kayıhan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Kadri Aksoy drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper. In the 24th minute, Ersen Bumba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nemesio Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the WINNING ELEVEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Tximitx couldn't finish the play. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neron Veterini in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonel Cordaro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led WINNING ELEVEN's Leonel Cordaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Baptista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jake Leonard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ersen Bumba's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Kadri Aksoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Leonard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kadri Aksoy ran back to his position shaking his head. When Neron Veterini came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the WINNING ELEVEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neron Veterini couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ got a freekick which was hit by Kadri Aksoy. Leonel Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neron Veterini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Pirro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kadri Aksoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Leonard having to interfere. Ersen Bumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Leonard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadri Aksoy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Neron Veterini managed to get in a good position for a shot. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Neron Veterini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ersen Bumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. WINNING ELEVEN's Wiktor Karp was substituted for Silverio Gipuzkoa. Jake Leonard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ersen Bumba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ersen Bumba got free with Jake Leonard in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neron Veterini's late challenge caught a ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neron Veterini helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to WINNING ELEVEN getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Neron Veterini hit a great ball. Jake Leonard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ. If Kadri Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
