In the 44th minute, one of FC Truseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Truseni. Iosif Creangã who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jânio Furlan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Iosif Creangã notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Guará FC's Jânio Furlan. Jânio Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tiago Gabriel Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guará FC's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Tiago Gabriel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erlingur Haaland in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Aritza saved FC Truseni from getting behind. There was no doubt that Guará FC were the better team. Guará FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
