The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Tango en Miami FC's Gerrit Cronen got control of the ball when Jorge Reijnders tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jorge Reijnders made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Reijnders scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerrit Cronen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kickers United booed when Tango en Miami FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jarvis McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Reijnders might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerrit Cronen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Reijnders ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerrit Cronen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 67th minute of the match. Jorge Reijnders blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerrit Cronen having to make a save. After taking down the ball on Kickers United's corner Tomás Firmin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerrit Cronen quite easily take care of the ball. Gerrit Cronen came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys. But to his dismay, Lode Rouvroys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Antonio Netels hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Firmin in the 85th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Gerrit Cronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Marinescu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lode Rouvroys in the 92nd minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Gerrit Cronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Miles Person notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kickers United could leave the field as winners, despite Tango en Miami FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
