With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley got control of the ball when Matthias Ekegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Key Biscayne FC defense, Matthias Ekegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lonnie Hurley. The Key Biscayne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lonnie Hurley should have stopped the shot. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Key Biscayne FC from getting a goal against them. Mats Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korey Reed in the 28th minute of play. Mohammed Sprague made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Clayton Castillo however managed to control. Mats Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Matthias Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Hurley having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Lennart Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Burton in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Pontus Lundgren got a free kick in the 43rd minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dustin Burton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korey Reed in the 63rd minute of play. Clayton Castillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mats Jakobsson could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Ekegren in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lonnie Hurley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Juoksengi were awarded a corner. Matthias Ekegren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Matthias Ekegren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley did a great save. Georges Collard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Jakobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Pontus Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Mats Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dustin Burton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georges Collards short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Mats Jakobsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ekegren in the 82nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Ekegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Key Biscayne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juoksengi the free kick. In the 95th minute Korey Reed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Key Biscayne FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
