Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urmas Känsäkangas came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Laguna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Luisinho Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Urmas Känsäkangas made a huge save. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 20th minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Hannes Jamieson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Jamieson couldn't finish the play. When SK Gullegem's Hannes Jamieson in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Gallo de Moron's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luisinho Laguna made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Bram Jamieson. When Luisinho Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the El Gallo de Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Laguna couldn't finish the play. When El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 65 minutes of play, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urmas Känsäkangas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Benedicto Atarratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Gallo de Moron the free kick. After 77 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Atarratze. Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Luisinho Laguna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Scigan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Scigan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Edward Scigan. Bram Jamieson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nacho Gonzalez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in SK Gullegem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Teofilo Garrote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Gullegem's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
