Kenneth van der Leegte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Xi Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Sousa in the 6th minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Jurre Van Loo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Che Campion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth van der Leegte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Xi Ran in the 11th minute of the match. Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by TAVIRA FC's Shao Xi Ran. But to his dismay, Shao Xi Ran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Shao Xi Ran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth van der Leegte was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Kenneth van der Leegte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Sousa in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leendert Looze to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Shao Xi Ran notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte. Kenneth van der Leegte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Souza couldn't finish the play. In the 44thth minute of the game Shao Xi Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Shao Xi Ran sped through SV Wissenkerke's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte. In the 47th minute Cristiano Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth van der Leegte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SV Wissenkerke players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TAVIRA FC were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hette van Dijk made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Oude Kamphuis during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TAVIRA FC booed when SV Wissenkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Oude Kamphuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Xi Ran in the 57th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Shao Xi Ran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Emiliano Palben cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Kenneth van der Leegte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth van der Leegte should have stopped the shot. TAVIRA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
