Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Djimmy Bonnefont got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-François Baudu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jean-François Baudu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Mirolyub Matanov got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jean-François Baudu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fierce's goalkeeper Jean-François Baudu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Congo Bongo were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Fierce's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franz Beckenbauer took the corner. Damaso Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-François Baudu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Congo Bongo got a corner. Fierce's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franz Beckenbauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Djimmy Bonnefont came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-François Baudu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Sancho went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jean-François Baudu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Sancho to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirolyub Matanov during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jean-François Baudu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Sancho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-François Baudu saved Fierce from getting behind. Sergio Austin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-François Baudu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jean-François Baudu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirolyub Matanov hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Fierce's Jean-François Baudu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Austin in the 69th minute of play. Damaso Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-François Baudu having to interfere. Congo Bongo's Arnaldo Oidor was substituted for Sergio Austin. Mirolyub Matanov made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrea Bocelli. In the 80th minute, Mirolyub Matanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-François Baudu having to make a save. Jean-François Baudu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho. But to his dismay, Damaso Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alvaro De Pedro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jean-François Baudu, a very annoying self made goal in the 94th minute which led to 4-0. 98 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Oidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jean-François Baudu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Congo Bongo fully deserved thier win.
