Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Zachariasz Moryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Weiand in the 10th minute of play. Máté Márton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademar Rocha in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Damaso Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Jürgen Leu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máté Márton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Weiand's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Damaso Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Moryl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Sancho came free, but Zachariasz Moryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Congo Bongo were awarded a corner. Franz Beckenbauer went to the cornerflag to take it. Zachariasz Moryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Tassilo Kost got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Tassilo Kost kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Máté Márton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Hurschler went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Congo Bongo's Sergio Austin was substituted for Kaj-Åke Kaká. Congo Bongo's Arnaldo Oidor was substituted for Iker Atarrabi. Zachariasz Moryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Austin could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Zachariasz Moryl however easily saved by the left post. Congo Bongo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franz Beckenbauer in the 70th minute. It was a well-played corner which Andrew Specht managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zachariasz Moryl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Oidor in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goalkeeper Zachariasz Moryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Oidor. Zachariasz Moryl made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Arnaldo Oidor sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo Oidor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachariasz Moryl firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zachariasz Moryl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Austin in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Leu in the 82nd minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Moryl made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Arnaldo Oidor sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Austin came free, but Zachariasz Moryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Damaso Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zachariasz Moryl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to FC Rägi getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jürgen Leu hit a great ball. Alekos Livas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Rägi's Zachariasz Moryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Daniel Hurschler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Oidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zachariasz Moryl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
