Dick Wennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Prata in the 6th minute of play forced White Hart Lane's goalkeeper Esbjörn Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Apelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genílson Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Ekman in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Décio Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Sipo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Porto to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Ekman in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Ekman got free with Genílson Gaspar in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, José Paulo Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sipo EC and the White Hart Lane players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's José Paulo Prata got a free kick in the 20th minute. Décio Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedot Khokhlov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, White Hart Lane's Bertil Ekman got a free kick in the 30th minute. White Hart Lane's Bertil Ekman suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermínio Rosado during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. White Hart Lane made a substitution. Peter Petersson replaced Bertil Ekman. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hermínio Rosado hit a great ball. Peter Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peter Petersson scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genílson Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Sipo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Porto to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Gois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Gaspar having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Petersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to White Hart Lane getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Nicolas Gois hit a great ball. In the 53rd match minute, White Hart Lane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedot Khokhlov to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Wennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magnus Gallberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Petersson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. White Hart Lane's Esbjörn Apelquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save White Hart Lane from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, José Paulo Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sipo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Apelquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Dick Wennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wanderson Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorma Jääskeläinen in the 72nd minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match White Hart Lane got a corner. Sipo EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Petersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Peter Petersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genílson Gaspar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sipo EC's Genílson Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Gois in the 75th minute of play. Genílson Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorma Jääskeläinen in the 76th minute of play. Fedot Khokhlov charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedot Khokhlov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, White Hart Lane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedot Khokhlov to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Décio Messias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Apelquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genílson Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Wennerberg in the 91st minute of the match. White Hart Lane's Fedot Khokhlov got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Fedot Khokhlov off the ground. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when White Hart Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedot Khokhlov didn't get a good kick on the ball. White Hart Lane were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
