Mark Vallin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes Freedom 2024's goalkeeper Jonathan Larsfelt managed, with a little bit of luck, save Nestor Chucho's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 7th match minute, Freedom 2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Juhlin to maneuver through the defense. Adrogue FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Abalos in the 11th minute. Christian Juhlin made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mircea Stanciu. Jonathan Larsfelt came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo. But to his dismay, Marcelo Gallardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Marcelo Gallardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Larsfelt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Marcelo Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Pablo Angel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Stanciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Gallardo was the one to do the kick off. Freedom 2024's Jonathan Larsfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 55th minute of play. Nestor Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jonathan Larsfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 63rd minute of the match. Adrogue FC's Piti Martinez was substituted for Juan Pablo Angel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Gallardo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Larsfelt saved Freedom 2024 from getting behind. Jonathan Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 79th minute of play. Jonathan Larsfelt came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo. But to his dismay, Marcelo Gallardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray was substituted for Marcelo Gallardo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Vergaray in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Larsfelt saved Freedom 2024 from getting behind. Mircea Stanciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Armani having to interfere. Mircea Stanciu struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Franco Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freedom 2024. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Adrogue FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Freedom 2024 for much of the match.
