The Municipales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 17th minute Honu Ng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Municipales FC's attentive Patricio Lluterio managed to snatch the ball when Kjell Fribäck made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Eloy Aznar might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Erik Hermansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Aznar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eloy Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Aznar got free with Nils-Erik Hermansson in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Municipales FC's Edvin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Byth in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Eloy Aznar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils-Erik Hermansson. Eloy Aznar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a little luck, BELAJ BOYS's Nils-Erik Hermansson got control of the ball when Eloy Aznar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BELAJ BOYS's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Aznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Erik Hermansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play.

The wind increased when Fabian Gurgul made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bennvar Byth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Lundgren in the 57th minute of play forced Municipales FC's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Edgardo Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rudolf Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Edgardo Quintun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Erik Hermansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Municipales FC's Ildefonso Arixo was substituted for Francisco Vincente. 66 minutes into the match, Edgardo Quintun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Erik Hermansson. BELAJ BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Quintun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Quintun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Erik Hermansson was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. BELAJ BOYS's Nils-Erik Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Quintun in the 71st minute of play. Municipales FC's attentive Angelito Di Maria managed to snatch the ball when Kjell Fribäck made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ildefonso Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Municipales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to BELAJ BOYS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Filiph Sandberg hit a great ball. When Edgardo Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Municipales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Quintun couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes, Edgardo Quintun made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. BELAJ BOYS's Nils-Erik Hermansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Municipales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Quintun to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Erik Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjen Robben in the 94th minute of play.
