But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Berghmans couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Linberg. Zlatan sucks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Gallardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Zlatan sucks's Ziggy Zaga got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zlatan sucks's Evert Linberg. Evert Linberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Zlatan sucks's zone, Marcelo Gallardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Linberg came out of the goal and Marcelo Gallardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Moncho Ogazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 30th minute of play forced Zlatan sucks's goalkeeper Evert Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Marcelo Gallardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Cristobal Avellaneda with Marcelo Gallardo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Franco Armani made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Roy Pihl sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Zlatan sucks booed when Adrogue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javi Pinola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Berghmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Gallardo to strike the kick off in the second half. The Adrogue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Adrogue FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Zlatan sucks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Abalos took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, Zlatan sucks's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Vergaray came free, but Evert Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrogue FC played a much better game than Zlatan sucks and deserved their victory. The Zlatan sucks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
