But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Frasquito couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, White Hart Lane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Hedvall to maneuver through the defense. Dick Wennerberg hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, White Hart Lane's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Frasquito came free, but Esbjörn Apelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Gois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Jaunti charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Municipales FC's Raul Jaunti got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Municipales FC booed when White Hart Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Gallberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Apelquist came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Municipales FC's Bruce Harper. But to his dismay, Bruce Harper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 47 played minutes White Hart Lane got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Gallberg. Municipales FC made a substitution. Arjen Robben replaced İskender Yörük. Magnus Gallberg hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Edgardo Quintun put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Esbjörn Apelquist. After 56 played minutes Municipales FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Harper. Esbjörn Apelquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Quintun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 59 minute of play. Edgardo Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
