When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ciprian Alexe got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlos Navarro Montoya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Maghiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dudu Georgescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Navarro Montoya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Şantău got free with Carlos Navarro Montoya in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciprian Alexe kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gheorghe Birișu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gabriel-Omar Santirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel-Omar Santirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dudu Georgescu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Georgescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 61st minute. Cédric Payen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Felix Ferenț replaced Cédric Payen. After 88 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Unax. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Navarro Montoya saved Arroyito FC from getting behind. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arroyito FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
