The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the Arroyito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Rush's late challenge caught a Arroyito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Rush helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Rush didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Venancio Etor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Grant McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrett Rosenberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Venancio Etor. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kvita in the 23rd minute of play. Miroslav Kvita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Harvey Flynn fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Harvey Flynn a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Arroyito FC's Jarrett Rosenberg threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel-Omar Santirso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrick Fontenot hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gabriel-Omar Santirso struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyito FC. Venancio Etor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarrett Rosenberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Etor slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Marcus Rush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 45th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel-Omar Santirso got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Venancio Etor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 53 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Kvita. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Kvita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Rosenberg was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel-Omar Santirso's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The throw-in from 何志翔 in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cosmos Soccer Club's Harvey Flynn. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gabriel-Omar Santirso sped through Cosmos Soccer Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. After having played for 69 minutes, Gabriel-Omar Santirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Santirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donovan Heath hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Miroslav Kvita kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Marcus Rush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Gabriel-Omar Santirso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 82nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Gervasio Unax sped through Cosmos Soccer Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg.
