Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes Cosmos Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Raymundo who took care of the corner kick. 15 minutes into the game, Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarrett Rosenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Brian Mendoza threw the ball into play from the sideline. Q. T. I.'s Carlos Sergi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Julian Raymundo took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Leopoldo Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Lluques in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Rosenberg saved Cosmos Soccer Club from getting behind. Julian Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donovan Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txatxu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Lluques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Julian Raymundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Anibal Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Casimiro Guillelmus replaced Julian Raymundo. The corner led Q. T. I.'s Lisandro Abeita to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarrett Rosenberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Lorenz. Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Harvey Flynn, made in the 70th minute of the game. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jarrett Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Brian Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Lisandro Abeita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jarrett Rosenberg threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Lisandro Abeita this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Lluques got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Casimiro Guillelmus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 90 minutes into the game, Casimiro Guillelmus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarrett Rosenberg. Casimiro Guillelmus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4.
