Marcus Talló started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Txaran came free, but Adrian Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Nautilus's Luis-Enrique Rosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nicasio Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adrian Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Ekialde. 15 minutes into the game, one of Nautilus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nautilus:s Adrian Bergström showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Patrido:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis-Enrique Rosa during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis-Enrique Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Txaran came free, but Adrian Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BFC 1982 were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Nautilus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Patrido took the corner. BFC 1982's Leandro Corderro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Bergström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adrian Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Nicasio Quinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Bergström. Nautilus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Quinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Adrian Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marcus Talló in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cesario Roma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the BFC 1982 defense, Marcus Talló kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesario Roma. The BFC 1982 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesario Roma should have stopped the shot. Marcus Talló received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesario Roma came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Talló slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Quinto was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nautilus's Marco Materazzi got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute Luis-Enrique Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesario Roma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nautilus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wesley Popken in the 59th minute. Wesley Popken kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Sándor Cleghorn charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sándor Cleghorn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BFC 1982 booed when Nautilus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Cleghorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nautilus's Adrian Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Nautilus from getting a goal against them. BFC 1982's Cesario Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Correia in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Nautilus getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Viorel Pintilie hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, one of Nautilus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Nautilus's Ronaldo Correia in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BFC 1982's goalie prevented a goal. Nautilus were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after BFC 1982's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wesley Popken took the corner. The corner led Nautilus's Wesley Popken to fire away a dangerous shot which Cesario Roma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nautilus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Nicasio Quinto scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Bergström, making the score, 3-4. After 94 minutes of play, Nautilus's Ronaldo Correia made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesario Roma was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
