The Universitario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lionel-Andrés Newell took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camillo Tullo. Camillo Tullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Camillo Tullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Newell, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Universitario got a corner. Warmia Grajewo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 杜升强 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Warmia Grajewo defense, Lionel-Andrés Newell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Tullo. The Warmia Grajewo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Tullo should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Lionel-Andrés Newell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Universitario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 45 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Newell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camillo Tullo. Warmia Grajewo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel-Andrés Newell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lionel-Andrés Newell made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Newell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camillo Tullo, 0-6. Warmia Grajewo's Camillo Tullo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Warmia Grajewo from getting a goal against them. Universitario were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Warmia Grajewo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Zambrano took the corner. Universitario's Ebardo Buergo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camillo Tullo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Newell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Tullo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
