Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lionel-Andrés Newell to make the kick off. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 53rd minute of play. Lionel-Andrés Newell took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Felipo. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinicio Felipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Xiang Chong came free, but Roman Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Felipo saved EL CERVECERO F.C. from getting behind. Roman Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Xiang Chong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Xiang Chong came free, but Roman Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Kimetz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Isidoro Kimetz got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Douglas de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Felipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88thth minute of the game Zheng Xiang Chong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Universitario's Roman Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Mon Postigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Mon Postigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The EL CERVECERO F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Universitario's performance. The match ended with a win for Universitario.
