Esquirla FC's Bernard Swartenbroekx managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Patrido in the 54 minute of the game. Arlo Arruta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesario Roma came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta. But to his dismay, Arlo Arruta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. BFC 1982's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
