Idar Dyrstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Gurney having to interfere. In the 28th minute Nicolas Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Gurney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Rushforth hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nicolas Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francis Gurney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francis Gurney was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Gurney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Idar Dyrstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Nicolas Millano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The White Rovers's Francis Gurney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tom Dearden charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Dearden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Cartwright in the 94th minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Amelie FC fully deserved thier win.
