In the 6th minute, Reynaldo Rameriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DON RAMON 72's Delmar Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Pires in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wellington Pires kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmar Hanot. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. Austra 04 VFC's Beila Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Rod Stewart made the kick off in the second half. Wellington Pires scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Hanot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Austra 04 VFC booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the DON RAMON 72 defense, Wellington Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Hanot. The DON RAMON 72 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Hanot should have stopped the shot. Sócrates Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the DON RAMON 72 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Austra 04 VFC.
