Nicolas Millano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Pavel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andrei Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idar Dyrstad in the 11th minute. Amelie FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after FC Fanaticii's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mugurel Ghiță took the corner. Amelie FC's Mugurel Ghiță was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrei Pavel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Gerard López got a free kick in the 15th minute. Máximo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Zotincă in the 16th minute of the match. Amelie FC's Idar Dyrstad got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amelie FC's Nicolas Millano in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Fanaticii's goalie prevented a goal. Saul Silvanito came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrei Pavel could save by the left post. In the 27th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Mareș to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Millano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Andrei Pavel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the game, Emanuel Giurcă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amelie FC the free kick. Emanuel Giurcă hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Millano in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Ganea came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes, FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Bărăian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Máximo Portero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Fanaticii reached it. 44 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Silvanito. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Millano to strike the kick off in the second half. If Idar Dyrstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Millano in the 55th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amelie FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugurel Ghiță in the 59th minute. It was a well-played corner which Idar Dyrstad managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nicolas Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Ghiță in the 65th minute of play. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idar Dyrstad in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Millano in the 70th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amelie FC's Saul Silvanito in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Fanaticii's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolas Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Krzysztof Kon put in a rough tackle. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amelie FC! The goalkeeper, Máximo Portero, was totally fooled by FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Bărăian, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Andrei Pavel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idar Dyrstad's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Idar Dyrstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amelie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Idar Dyrstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Portero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Măgură in the 92nd minute. If Mugurel Ghiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Giurcă to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Ghiță took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrei Pavel. FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Idar Dyrstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Fanaticii succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Amelie FC had controlled the match.
