With a left leg Gaudencio Juvenal saved Kikemania FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Bunoaică in the 7th minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charro Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Charro Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Baldovin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kikemania FC's Silvio Eutropio got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Kikemania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charro Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Balaban in the 20th minute of the match. Edinson Cavani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gaudencio Juvenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Stoicea to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Rolando Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's Vintilă Stoicea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Juvenal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Aanuţei was the one to do the kick off. Gaudencio Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Aanuţei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Aanuţei got free with Gaudencio Juvenal in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Augustin Cernat hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Balendin in the 56th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonard Aanuţei came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Buzău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Aanuţei couldn't finish the play. After 60th play minutes Traian Balaban shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gaudencio Juvenal and just under the crossbar into goal. 64 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Cernat came free, but Gaudencio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonard Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kikemania FC's Gabriel Balendin got a free kick in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Aanuţei during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Aanuţei to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Juvenal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Marius Bunoaică sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Marius Bunoaică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Juvenal was a little too slow when Leonard Aanuţei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-2. Gabriel Balendin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kikemania FC's Gaudencio Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kikemania FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Gaudencio Juvenal managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when FC Buzău's Leonard Aanuţei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Kikemania FC defense, Leonard Aanuţei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Juvenal. The Kikemania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Juvenal should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 92 in the game by Leonard Aanuţei from a close distance when the talented Gaudencio Juvenal managed to make a qualified save. Kikemania FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ladislao Raebert hit a great ball. Gaudencio Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Cernat in the 95th minute of play. Gaudencio Juvenal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Aanuţei's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. FC Buzău played a much better game than Kikemania FC and deserved their victory. The Kikemania FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
