Gaudencio Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Bouzon in the 2nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esquipula Bouzon in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Juvenal saved Kikemania FC from getting behind. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Perfecto came free, but Gaudencio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kikemania FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Min in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nestor Vellito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anastasio Eguerdi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gregorio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Juvenal having to interfere. Gaudencio Juvenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esquipula Bouzon in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nicolas Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Eguerdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kikemania FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Placido Min took the corner. The corner led Kikemania FC's Placido Min to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Eguerdi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kikemania FC's zone, Gregorio Urbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Juvenal came out of the goal and Gregorio Urbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Eguerdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frichoso Ondovilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Juvenal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
