In the 16th minute, Sauveur Pejuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Sauveur Pejuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Evaristo Lecuona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Rodriguez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sauveur Pejuan got free with Wilfredo Rodriguez in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jeff Beck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zebolla FC's Nicodemo Sierro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sauveur Pejuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Zebolla FC's Sauveur Pejuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfredo Rodriguez. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Wilfredo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sauveur Pejuan in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Sauveur Pejuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebolla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sauveur Pejuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeff Beck to strike the kick off in the second half.
