In the 19th minute Bo Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenz Ureta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Griezmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenz Ureta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoine Griezmann ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Ajax Colombiano defense, Bo Lennartsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenz Ureta. The Ajax Colombiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenz Ureta should have stopped the shot. Tony Löv made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Baba Ba sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Atakan Cire. If Baba Ba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Tony Löv throw himself and got hold of the ball when Baba Ba in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. It was a well-played corner which Rayman Rioseras managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivon Gasca in the 39th minute of play forced Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Tony Löv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ajax Colombiano booed when Bicicleta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baba Ba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Ba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Löv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joppe Hvenegaard's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florinio Corro hit a great ball. Hector Ferman hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Bicicleta F.C.'s Segundo Feliu was substituted for Lucas Basualdo. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Hector Ferman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Tony Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Ba, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute Ajax Colombiano were awarded a corner. Ivon Gasca went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Pudes Checa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 79 minutes into the match, Ajax Colombiano's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lennartsson came free, but Lorenz Ureta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
