The Kurdistan CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erland Spetz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves John Kämpe could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Wilfredo Rodriguez however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Kurdistan CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalbador Sparke didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeff Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kurdistan CF's Tage Göransson got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Jeff Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Kämpe got free with Wilfredo Rodriguez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jeff Beck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Spetz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pindobassu EC's Mário Azevedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erland Spetz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeff Beck to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz got control of the ball when Jeff Beck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pindobassu EC's Jorginho Munhoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erland Spetz. That made the score 1-11 after 80 minutes of play. 85 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Xalbador Sparke came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz got control of the ball when Jorginho Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Pindobassu EC's Nilmar Vargas made it 1-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erland Spetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorginho Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Erland Spetz made a huge save. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Kurdistan CF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Vargas in the 96th minute of play forced Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Erland Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Vargas in the 96th minute of play.
