In the 12thth minute of the game Jeff Beck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Antonio Uranga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Izydor Czubski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Rodriguez was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15thth minute of the game Feliks Drzewucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Uranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Beck in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pindobassu EC's Andrézinho França got a free kick in the 45th minute. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Drzewucki in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jeff Beck made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ruben came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Kuskatan C.F. were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Pindobassu EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Ruben took the corner. With a left leg Wilfredo Rodriguez saved Pindobassu EC from getting behind. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pindobassu EC's Jorginho Munhoz was substituted for Jeff Beck. Pindobassu EC's Humberto Diniz was substituted for Dorian Hoffmann. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Juan Campos was substituted for Feliks Drzewucki. In the 85th minute, Víktor Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Kuskatan C.F. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
