After a defensive mix-up in Pindobassu EC's zone, Einar Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Rodriguez came out of the goal and Einar Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jeff Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Aleberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wilfredo Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Geovânio Veiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erland Spetz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 41 played minutes Kurdistan CF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Sandström. In the 42nd minute, Jeff Beck made a precise shot to the right of Erland Spetz. Kurdistan CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

Erland Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Beck in the 54th minute of the match. Wilfredo Rodriguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez got control of the ball when Edward Eriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Pindobassu EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
