The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Dziurowicz got free with Wilfredo Rodriguez in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Jestrimski in the 16th minute of the match. If Herbert Dziurowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovânio Veiga in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Naskrent saved FC Lupus from getting behind. Wilfredo Rodriguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Dziurowicz went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The Pindobassu EC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Pindobassu EC's Geovânio Veiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pindobassu EC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after FC Lupus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mário Azevedo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pindobassu EC's corner Mário Azevedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Naskrent quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Geovânio Veiga notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Lupus's Waldemar Naskrent. Waldemar Naskrent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff Beck to make the kick off. Waldemar Naskrent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeff Beck's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Waldemar Naskrent didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. 59 minutes into the game, Jeff Beck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldemar Naskrent. Jeff Beck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After 61 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Azevedo. When Herbert Dziurowicz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Lupus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Dziurowicz couldn't finish the play. Jeff Beck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Waldemar Naskrent skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Dorian Hoffmann replaced Nilmar Vargas. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Herbert Dziurowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lupus's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Dziurowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Lupus getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wit Bugno hit a great ball. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Humberto Diniz replaced Geovânio Veiga. In the 79th minute, Wit Bugno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pindobassu EC's Humberto Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Lupus getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bogdan Kilar hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Cyprian Jestrimski notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez. Wilfredo Rodriguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herbert Dziurowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Dziurowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Lupus's Herbert Dziurowicz got a free kick in the 88th minute. FC Lupus's Waldemar Naskrent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lupus from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Zerde in the 91st minute of play. Herbert Dziurowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 95 in the game by Jorginho Munhoz from a close distance when the talented Waldemar Naskrent managed to make a qualified save. FC Lupus's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pindobassu EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
