It was a penalty for Westra Aros SK! Sander Bust walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Amadeo Sazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Olsson having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Ismael Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westra Aros SK and the Pomona AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Westra Aros SK's Ismael Jenaro got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sonny Bäckström during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sonny Bäckström hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Amador Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egon Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Amadeo Sazon took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Olsson. Egon Olsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Egon Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Patxi in the 24th minute of play. Egon Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Patxi in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Amadeo Sazon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson. Egon Olsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Pomona AFC booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Kuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Fabian Frechoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Olsson skillfully saved the ball. After 38 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Ingo Kuster. Bernardino Telmo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gökberk Özgenc sent off a good shot on target. After 43 minutes, Amador Patxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pomona AFC and the Westra Aros SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Pomona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Patxi to maneuver through the defense. Egon Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Pomona AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Patxi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pomona AFC's Sander Bust got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Pomona AFC's Bernardino Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Jenaro in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pomona AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Normando Portillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Westra Aros SK's players had a chance to rest. Westra Aros SK's Normando Portillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardino Telmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 64 played minutes Pomona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Mendonça. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Stig Waller hit a great ball. Bernardino Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Ingo Kuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Westra Aros SK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gökberk Özgenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westra Aros SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökberk Özgenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig Waller's late challenge caught a Pomona AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Waller helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pomona AFC booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Waller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Normando Portillo. Sander Bust, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle sounded Pomona AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Westra Aros SK.
