After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Morgan Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metalducks's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Kilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahadır Tuncel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Cosimo Grifoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Tuncel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağatay Saatçioğlu in the 14th minute of play forced Metalducks's goalkeeper Aleksander Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahadır Tuncel made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cosimo Grifoni sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes, Torgny Lidberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metalducks and the CaPLooNBa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Metalducks booed when CaPLooNBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağatay Saatçioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes of play, CaPLooNBa's Çağatay Saatçioğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksander Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleksander Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağatay Saatçioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahadır Tuncel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cosimo Grifoni sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çağatay Saatçioğlu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cosimo Grifonis short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Bahadır Tuncel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. CaPLooNBa's Bahadır Tuncel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Kilberg in the 41st minute of play. Evren Düden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bahadır Tuncel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Çağatay Saatçioğlu to make the kick off. CaPLooNBa's Bahadır Tuncel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Grifoni in the 51st minute of play. Aleksander Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Selim Baturalp in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes CaPLooNBa got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evren Düden in the 59th minute of play forced CaPLooNBa's goalkeeper Bahadır Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CaPLooNBa getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Baha Kutsoy hit a great ball. Bahadır Tuncel came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Cosimo Grifoni. But to his dismay, Cosimo Grifoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aleksander Engström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çağatay Saatçioğlu in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, CaPLooNBa's Orkun Yönet got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, CaPLooNBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orkun Yönet to maneuver through the defense. Michael Lidström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Cosimo Grifoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Tuncel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Metalducks getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joakim Böcklund hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Cosimo Grifoni made a precise shot to the right of Bahadır Tuncel. CaPLooNBa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
