In the 12th minute, Anıl Cenk Semim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Zuraw in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Stettin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Cenk Semim to maneuver through the defense. When Akhilleus Karabatsos came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the TS Bielsko-Biała fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akhilleus Karabatsos couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akhilleus Karabatsos got free with Jerzy Markowski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, Stettin's He Cheng Quan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Fagildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Jerzy Markowski managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when TS Bielsko-Biała's Roger Guerra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Ali Dem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Fagildo. TS Bielsko-Biała's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Dem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some careless play in the Stettin defense, Cyprian Zuraw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Markowski. The Stettin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Markowski should have stopped the shot. Artur Ptaszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Markowski having to interfere. A well done corner resulted in Robert Zdanowicz drilling the ball in to score 3-3 behind Stettin's goalkeeper. Jerzy Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akhilleus Karabatsos in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacek Klawke was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Akhilleus Karabatsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Markowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akhilleus Karabatsos scored 4-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Markowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, TS Bielsko-Biała's Amador Fagildo got control of the ball when Vidar Björk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stettin's He Cheng Quan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafal Majorski in the 61 minute of the game. The supporters of TS Bielsko-Biała booed when Stettin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Drugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Stettin's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Klawke came free, but Jerzy Markowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Jacek Klawke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Markowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Klawke in the 88th minute of play forced Stettin's goalkeeper Jerzy Markowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stettin's Jerzy Markowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Guerra in the 92nd minute of play. Jacek Klawke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Markowski having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TS Bielsko-Biała had played much better football throughout.
