Spectators: 7584 (Terracing: 5689, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orçun Yalınalp took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Txindoki was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. But to his dismay, Orçun Yalınalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Cipriano Pasqual who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Ermegildo Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 14th minute of play. Zenon Galagan made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eric Luican however managed to control. CAI NEUQUEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Horhoianu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Txindoki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match CAI NEUQUEN got a corner. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Heriberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Miodrag Belo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 37 minutes into the game, Cipriano Pasqual recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomiro Txindoki. Cipriano Pasqual showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Luican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Qian Chao Tian in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAI NEUQUEN's goalie prevented a goal. Belarmino Campos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cipriano Pasqual's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 68th minute of the match. Miodrag Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 73rd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Belarmino Campos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAI NEUQUEN's protests and gave Belarmino Campos a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of CAI NEUQUEN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia:s goal. Wilson Arósio scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Horado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play CAI NEUQUEN's Belarmino Campos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Belarmino Campos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A long shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 86th minute of play was well struck, but Ermegildo Horado made a really good save at the right post. A collision led to CAI NEUQUEN getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joel Santana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Luican in the 92nd minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia defense, Raul Heriberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Txindoki should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Qian Chao Tian got a free kick in the 96th minute. Isaac Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
