Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tadeo Frichoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Tono in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Guido Olentzaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grütly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Grütly booed when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Tono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Boniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Tono in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Boniel saved Grütly from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Severo Tono made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Mendebal in the 25th minute of play. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Epifanio Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Frichoso in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Toldo saved Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting behind. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafin Bortzaioriz in the 42nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grütly's goalie and right to Teobaldo Frechoso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grütly's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tadeo Frichoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. In the 47th minute Severo Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Severo Tono made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Elpidio Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Severo Tono lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Epifanio Boniel. A collision led to Resurrección Diabólica Ψ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Severo Tono hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Grütly got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Selmo. Epifanio Boniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Tono's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Tono in the 67th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Epifanio Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Gaston Mendebal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Guido Olentzaro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Grütly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Olentzaro couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute of the match Resurrección Diabólica Ψ got a corner. Grütly's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Bortzaioriz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's corner Serafin Bortzaioriz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epifanio Boniel quite easily take care of the ball. Mando Lucifer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Epifanio Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mando Lucifer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grütly's Epifanio Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mando Lucifer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Boniel having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Mirande came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Batista came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
