Jorge Torcida started the match with the kick off. Miliano Roza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ψ virgen Ψ's Jonas Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ψ virgen Ψ from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Gilesindo Tarapiella fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonas Paskal, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gilesindo Tarapiella sped through Ψ virgen Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Paskal. 19 minutes into the match, Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Jonas Paskal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miliano Roza. Ψ virgen Ψ's Jonas Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ψ virgen Ψ from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo Tarapiella. In the 24th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miro Olivos to maneuver through the defense. Olo Uriarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Diaz in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Jorge Torcida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Paskal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miliano Roza might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Paskal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miliano Roza ran back to his position shaking his head. Olo Uriarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ψ virgen Ψ's Jonas Paskal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Ψ virgen Ψ booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Torcida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ψ virgen Ψ's goalie prevented a goal. Miliano Roza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Ψ virgen Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Torcida came free, but Jonas Paskal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Torcida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ψ virgen Ψ's Blas Espiridion was substituted for Victorino Diaz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Gonzales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miliano Roza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Paskal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Gonzales got free with Olo Uriarte in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Jorge Torcida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Pes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Caaguazu made a substitution. Blai Arismendi replaced Frederico Freijo. After 65 played minutes Ψ virgen Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Pes. Jonas Paskal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miliano Roza's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Roza in the 76th minute of play forced Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Jonas Paskal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ψ virgen Ψ's Blas Gaizkine got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jorge Torcida struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jonas Paskal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caaguazu. Miliano Roza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Paskal having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Baldomero Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Miliano Roza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Miliano Roza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Paskal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caaguazu had won after a very even match.
