Caaguazu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malvin Vidaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Baldomero Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malvin Vidaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Diaz came free, but Olo Uriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Paskal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Torcida, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Paskal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Bartolome Moracia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ψ virgen Ψ's Jonas Paskal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malvin Vidaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Pes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte got control of the ball when Pablo Sayvion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Caaguazu from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Malvin Vidaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Malvin Vidaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Paskal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Paskal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Torcida's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Jorge Torcida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Garikoitz got free with Olo Uriarte in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Jorge Torcida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonas Paskal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Torcida in the 45th minute of play forced Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Jonas Paskal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Caaguazu were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Ψ virgen Ψ made a substitution. Fausto Gonzales replaced Pablo Sayvion. Ψ virgen Ψ's Blas Espiridion was substituted for Victorino Diaz. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Torcida to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match Jorge Torcida climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jonas Paskal. Bartolome Moracia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Malvin Vidaurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Torcida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Paskal having to interfere. With his leg Jonas Paskal managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Torcida who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Paskal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Torcida in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Paskal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 71 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo Tarapiella. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Jonas Paskal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olo Uriarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Espiridion in the 76th minute of play. Ψ virgen Ψ's Jonas Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Ψ virgen Ψ from getting a goal against them. Jonas Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Torcida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Miliano Roza could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Jonas Paskal however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ψ virgen Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gary Ayala was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bartolome Moracia hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Ψ virgen Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Lizbeth. If Jorge Torcida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jorge Torcida came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Caaguazu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Torcida couldn't finish the play. Olo Uriarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Jorge Torcida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Paskal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Paskal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gary Ayala. When the final whistle sounded Caaguazu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ψ virgen Ψ.
